The Modular Advantage - It's about Time, Money and Flexibility!

TIME - Prefabricated modular and portable buildings can be on your site within 8 to 10 weeks of placing your order. Normal site-built construction can take anywhere from six months to more than a year to complete. Our prefab building plans save you time.

MONEY - Not only will savings be realized from the efficiencies of the modular building system, but thanks to the prefabricated process, the compressed timeline often translates to increased profits based on the facility becoming operational well in advance of the conventional construction approach.

FLEXIBILITY - If there is uncertainty about geographic expansion, portable building systems offer a feature unlike conventional building—they are re-locatable. A business can quickly establish a presence or relocate the facility with relative ease. This is just one of the ways that a modular building system provides flexibility.

The Modular Building Advantage

The term "Modular" can mean many different things depending on how it is used. In the building industry it refers to a different method of creating additional space than the conventional approach of on-site construction.  Modular building offices, health care centers, churches, classrooms, or any other type of building are built in sections in a quality controlled environment free from the effects of weather, both of which can have a serious impact on time and money on a given project.

To gain a better appreciation for the advantage of modular vs conventional construction, think "faster, less expensive, more flexible construction" than the conventional approach... think faster ROI!

The Modular Building Process

  • From the early stages of the project that begins with a space requirement and ideas on how to best solve the challenge, we work closely with both the customer and the manufacturer. The Low Group, Inc. proceeds to a definite design, transfers the custom design to a blue print, then starts construction.
  • As the building modules are being constructed in the controlled plant environment, your site is being prepared. This saves significant time in what is known as "concurrent construction." We do not have to wait for the foundation to cure before the walls go up.
  • Concurrent with the completion of the the foundation, we transport the modules to the site. Modules typically arrive about 80 to 90 percent complete.
  • We then position or crane-lift the modules onto the foundation, link them, and close up the mate lines for a seamless, finished installation.
  • Finally, finish work is done on the building landscaping and all other site work is completed. The building is ready months faster than with conventional construction methods.
If you require a modular and portable building system that will save your business or organization time and money and provide a level of flexibility unavailable with conventional construction, then the modular buildings by The Low Group, Inc. are perfectly suited to your needs. We offer modular office buildings, modular church buildings, modular day care buildings, modular school buildings, and modular commercial buildings of all types.
